electronic book reader | AnywhereMap Pro WX and Fujitsu Q550 – Quick Review – Part 1
This will be a quick review of the AnywhereMap Pro WX running on the Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 slate computer with UltraTAWS and PocketPlates 3. This is not really intended to be an exhaustive review of all the features, but rather just a quick review as I took it out of the box. I bought the Q550 to replace my Asus eeePC T91MT that was suffering from a lack of sunlight readability. The Q550 has a 400 nit display (equivalent to the iPad) and is in many other ways similar to the iPad, so it should serve as an interesting comparison with the iPad for those who are currently flying with an iPad solution. The nice thing about Windows-based navigation solutions is that you can keep up with the hardware of the day from any computer vendor, whereas iPad-based solutions leave you locked into whatever Apple chooses to provide for you in the way of hardware features.
